“Then the work of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I know the; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet to the nations.” - Jeremiah 1:4,5
When God told Jeremiah that He had chosen to use him before he was born, Jeremiah almost got in God’s way. Sound familiar? Jeremiah was apparently busy looking in the mirror of his own inadequacies, instead of looking at the One who had both called and equipped him. Does this look like someone you know? God first of all can use who He wants, but He also uses our weaknesses as pockets to demonstrate His strength. What we’re not gives Him room to show us what He is! Do you sometimes wonder why God allows the devil to raise up his ugly head in your life when you’re trying your best to live for Christ? What better way for God to prove to you that He can keep you. When God calls you to service it is not based on our ability. It is based on His will and His plan for us. Even in our undone state, if you answer God’s call, you will blessed!
