Chosen to be Cherished: Chosen...
“Beloved, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons [children] of God:” 1 John 3:1a
Your birth into the family of God was preordained at the behest and initiated action of God Himself. God and God alone, is responsible for you now being His child. Wow! And you know what else? Even your faith. God gave you His faith so that you could become His child. If that’s not enough, Jesus even prayed to God that we would become His children and eventually share in His glory. You were chosen to be cherished, chosen to be loved. You didn’t have to be His child, you didn’t deserve it, but He decided to make you His child. The Holy Spirit inspired words of this booklet offer a glimpse of the goodness and mercy God has bestowed on us. Knowing that His choosing us is truly because of His love for us.
